En el 2007 y tras de la gira con el album "Home", Anneke van Giersbergen quien hasta ese entonces era vocalista de la banda holandesa The Gathering, decide separarse de la banda en busca de una carrera como solista.
No tardo mucho en crear su propio proyecto llamado "Agua de Annique", que es una mezcla del Trip-Rock que hacia en los ultimos albumes de The Gathering con un poco de Pop Rock, logrando una ambientacion unica y muy amena en cada una de sus canciones, algo ya comun en ella pues su voz es capaz de ambientar y hacer de sus canciones magia, muy buen album para un momento tranquilo, a gusto.
